Facelift Surgery Perth, Western Australia
Some people wrongly think that facelift surgery is vanity surgery. On the contrary facelifts do not change a patient's appearance but refresh the same face so that it looks less aged. Unfortunately aging is relentless and although it will be nice "to grow old gracefully", it is not unreasonable to seek help to reverse some of the ravages of time, weather and stress. We call it "maintenance."
Dr Chan has been performing facelifts for over 25 years and has helped develop some of the techniques to successfully and naturally look refreshed. His aims in facelift surgery are:
- To make the improvement look natural and the face not appeared pulled. In this way it would be hard for friends or relatives to know that you have had a facelift.
- To perform the operation as safely as possible and with minimum risk of complication.
- To have the result as long lasting as possible. Most patients do not need a repeat facelift and can age gracefully. For the few patients that revisit Dr Chan, it is usually 10 years or so later.
