After Upper & Lower Eyelid Surgery | Eyelid Surgery Perth, Western Australia
Dr Chan has been performing upper and lower eyelid surgery in Perth, Western Australia for over 20 years.
Upper Eyelid Surgery
Your eyelid is often the first visible sign of aging. There often seems to be too much skin on the upper eyelids and sometimes this rests on the eyelashes, giving an old, tired look. If this is the case then the eyelid surgery operation is considered NOT totally cosmetic.
Medicare rebates apply to eyelid surgery where the eyelid skin rests on the eyelashes when looking straight ahead. Private hospital insurance will then help cover hospital costs. It will also cover most if not all your hospital cost if you are well insured.
Lower Eyelid Surgery
Sometimes bags appear due to fat. Often excess skin and fat appear together. The skin can become excessive and hangs or becomes wrinkly again giving the appearance of tiredness or lack of sleep.
It is very disconcerting to be told "You look tired; haven't you had enough sleep?" when you have had a good nights sleep. Is it time to seek some advice and possibly consider eyelid surgery? If so, please contact Dr Chan.
