Q: My labia are too large and cause problems. Is it safe to have them trimmed?
A: If the labia are trimmed properly, it usually does not produce any problems. Just the right amount needs to be removed in order not to cause problems and to look as neat as possible

Q: How is the operation done?

A: It normally requires an anaesthetic as day surgery or an overnight stay in hospital.

Q: Do I have stiches and do they have to be removed?

A: Most of the stitches used are buried under the skin and dissolve. They do not have to be removed.

Q: Is it a painful operation?

A: Patients are surprised that it may sting a little in the first few days but there is not much pain.
